Science Day

Alta School’s Celebration of Science was held on May 21^st last year. We started this event to spotlight the great science we do at Alta School, since elementary schools no longer do a district-wide science fair. The celebration started at 10:30 with kindergarten classes going to a fourth or fifth grade class for science activities. The afternoon had the rest of the school rotating classrooms for science fun. The day was capped off by the fifth grades launching their rockets. The entire school and community were invited to watch.
